The wedding venue
This is one of the most practical bridal shoot locations you can ever go for. If you are getting married there in the first place, then you might as well make sure that you get to maximize the location in the first place. Make it a point to always get things checked out when it comes to things like this. As much as possible, try to see if you will be able to play around with the possibility of getting the location of the wedding venue for free as much as possible. You don’t have to pay for anything extra for something like this.
For as long as you get to lay this out with the wedding venue owners well ahead of time, you are bound to come up with some pretty interesting deals hammered out for you the entire time that you are trying to work things out. It is all a matter of laying the cards out on the table accordingly. Before you decide to book them, try to see if you can weasel in a bridal shoot on top of the wedding day booking. This isn’t too much trouble on their end especially during the off peak season. More than that, it will help orient you and your photographer about the things that you can expect from the surroundings and from the wedding venue in general.
A hotel bedroom
This is a bit of an intimate kind of setting or venue for the bridal shoot but then again, given the fact that bridal shoots are usually tagged along with boudoir photography, it should work out for you well enough. All that you need to do is make sure that you get to book this in advance as well. You will get a much better chance of hammering out better rates if you arrange for things well in advance as opposed to booking things on the fly which might lead you to have skyrocketing rates for the hotel rooms that you end up booking. This is practical as well because it technically means that you don’t have to worry too much about the aspect of preparing things while you are there. You don’t have to stress yourself out about the setup and about keeping everything clean and fresh because the hotel will do all of that for you, and then some. But then again, everything comes for a price and you will end up getting what you paid for in the first place.
Anywhere that holds a special meaning to you and to your partner.
Any place that holds a significant symbolism of what you and what your partner stand for can turn out to be a pretty good venue or location for your bridal shoot. In the end of it all, anything goes and there really is no such thing as a right or a wrong venue for a bridal shoot. If it is something that you think that you can pull off or if it is the kind of thing that you think will work out well for you and for everything that you are trying to pull off, then it should be pretty good and it should be appropriate enough to hold your bridal shoot in.
